The Rest Initiative (TRI) exists to support clergy, church-planters, missionaries, humanitarian workers and caregivers both nationally and internationally as they care for others. Organizations and churches that have staff either in high stress, cross-cultural assignments or domestic, ministerial positions have a responsibility to care for them—those who work with the traumatized, hurting, poor, destitute, and emotionally broken.

TRI serves as the primary resource to assure the emotional stability of your staff. We provide ongoing support through confidential face-to-face coaching, assessments, debriefing, and equipping. Our primary goal is to proactively care for staff to produce stronger stability and increased effectiveness.

Staff care is not an option. It is a necessity.

Staff care is not an option. It is a necessity. Being proactive will offer an organization the opportunity to expose and assess issues at an early stage before they have the potential of doing extensive damage to staff, the church, and/or the organization. We will provide professional, efficient, dependable care to the vulnerable, often isolated staff while on assignment or in their current position.

For national and international organizations and churches, The Rest Initiative is a staff care group providing real-time, proactive care and curriculum. Through immediate, one-on-one coaching and counseling, a training curriculum and self-guided resources, The Rest Initiative restores confidence and capability to staff, providing them an enduring sense of completeness, support and rejuvenation.
