TRI Partnerships: Tending to the Whole Team.
Proactive Care For Those Serving Others
Through TRI Partnerships, we come alongside churches, ministries, nonprofits, and mission organizations to support the health and sustainability of their teams. Our goal is simple: help leaders and teams flourish so they can continue serving others from a place of wholeness and rest.
For more than 15 years, The Rest Initiative has provided proactive care systems designed to strengthen individuals, teams, and organizational cultures. Rather than waiting for crisis, we help organizations build rhythms of care that cultivate resilience, emotional health, and long-term sustainability.
What We Do
TRI Partnerships provide proactive care for ministry teams, nonprofit leaders, and mission organizations through professional, faith-informed support. We partner with organizations to create a trusted space where leaders can be supported personally while also strengthening the health of their teams and culture. Our work is centered on four primary areas of care:
Individual Care
Confidential counseling support for staff and leaders provided by licensed, faith-integrated counselors. These sessions offer space to process life, leadership, relationships, and personal well-being.
Organizational Consulting
Strategic support for leaders seeking to strengthen team health, navigate transitions, or cultivate a healthier organizational culture.
Workshops and Trainings
Practical workshops designed to equip teams with tools for emotional health, leadership resilience, and sustainable rhythms of work and rest.
Retreat Facilitation
Guided retreats that create space for reflection, connection, and renewal—helping leaders step away from daily demands and reengage their calling with clarity and strength.
Why We Do It
Those who care for others often carry significant responsibility and pressure. Over time, the weight of leadership, ministry, and mission can take a toll on emotional, relational, and spiritual health.
At The Rest Initiative, we believe leaders flourish when they are known, supported, and cared for. Our partnerships exist to help organizations invest in the well-being of their people—so they can serve with clarity, resilience, and lasting strength.
When leaders experience intentional care, the impact extends far beyond the individual. Healthy leaders strengthen teams, organizations, and the communities they serve.
“Our partnership with The Rest Initiative has been one of the most meaningful investments we’ve made in our staff. Knowing our team has a trusted place for counseling and care has brought a sense of stability and health to our entire church. TRI has helped our leaders serve from a place of strength rather than exhaustion.”
— Brad, California
“Ministry can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be heavy at times. Having access to TRI gave me a space to process, reflect, and grow. It’s made me a healthier leader and has allowed me to show up with more presence and patience for the families we serve.”
— Heather, North Dakota
“Partnering with TRI has strengthened our organization in ways we didn’t anticipate. Our team now has practical support through counseling, training, and leadership care. It has helped us build a healthier culture where people feel supported and equipped to sustain the work long-term.”
— Sara, Florida
