Amanda Lassiter MSW LMSW
I am Amanda Lassiter and I’ve been working with TRI for almost two years. I love the mission of investing in those who invest in others. As providers, we know loving others well takes a toll, and TRI clients love well. Thus, they also need to be loved well.
I am married and have three kids ages five, four, and two. I graduated from Boston University and am licensed in Massachusetts and Georgia. My counseling focus is mainly anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, grief, women and motherhood (prep, fertility, postpartum). I love working with people who are new to therapy as well as working with moms. I am certified in CBT and DBT, TF-CBT cert, series trainings in polyvagal theory/ neurobiology and Enneagram. I have a private practice called Lassiter Counseling .
My hobbies include running, hiking and writing. I feel move alive when I have reached the peak of a hard hike. Someday I would love to trek La Camina in Spain. My favorite book from childhood is The Giving Tree. I didn't grow up in the church, but came to faith in a non-denominational church. My current church is technically non-denominational although it has loose ties to the Southern Baptist Convention.
