Angela Burleigh MA LMHC
I’m Angela Burleigh and I have been working with TRI for nine years. I initially got into counseling because I have a passion for working with missionaries.
I graduated from RTS in Florida and have a private practice at the Redeemer Counseling Center. Licensed in Florida, I work with clients facing depression, anxiety, and trauma. I particularly enjoy working with single girls who are trying to figure out relationships. I have training in perinatal mental health and am certified in PSI, Perinatal Mental Health, and EMDR.
I'm married to Brian, an elementary school teacher, and I have two children: Eleanor (6) and Blake (3). I love traveling, exploring, coffee, and reading novels. I feel alive when I have a really deep conversation with someone or when I'm in a beautiful place in nature. Someday I would like to travel to Scotland. As a child I loved to read Nancy Drew books.
Spiritually, I grew up Independent, Fundamental Baptist (Bob Jones University world), but I was also introduced to the PCA in high school. I was exposed to many more denominational backgrounds after college. I think my theology leans Presbyterian with a little bit of Lutheranism in it now, and I attend a non-denominational church.
