April Pence MA LMHC

I’m April Pence and I’ve been working with TRI for three years. I love working with workers in the field! I find TRI clients eager to engage and are actively seeking to grow and deepen in their personal and spiritual lives. I graduated from RTS Orlando and I’m licensed in Florida.

I have a private practice, April Pence Counseling. EMDR Certified and also a Consultant-in-Training (EMDRIA), my focus is on trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, cross-cultural life adjustment, and spirituality concerns. I especially enjoy working with individuals, primarily women and specifically single women.

I'm a single woman recently relocated back to the US (central FL) after living in Vietnam for nearly eight years. My family lives in Ohio and I regularly visit them. I currently live in an apartment very nearby  to close friends and I've recently entered the dating scene! Open to set ups….LOL! I love the outdoors, the beach, riding my bike, kayaking and hiking in the mountains, experimenting with cooking and some drawing recently. I feel most alive when I’m traveling and riding my bike. I would love to travel to Ireland, Hawaii and Switzerland.

I've been a Christian since childhood and have been walking with the Lord since then through all the ups and downs of life. My church background is non-denominational. Currently I am a part of and really enjoying an Anglican fellowship. I made the switch to liturgical service from non-denominational several years ago.
