Christi Polk MA LMFT

I’m Christi Polk and I’ve been working with TRI since 2016. I really enjoy being able to integrate faith and emotional health. I also really appreciate Neal's vision for helping organizations at a core level of emotional and relational health. I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary and have a Masters degree in Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’m licensed in Florida, Tennessee and Missouri. I have a private practice, Christi Polk Counseling, LMFT. I focus on depression, anxiety, relationship problems, parenting, PTSD and trauma. I have been trained in EFIT and I’m certified in IFS and EFT and EFIT. I live in Branson, Missouri with my husband, Brian. We have two sons, ages 19 and 16. Our older son goes to school at Abilene Christian University in Texas. After living in Orlando, Florida for over 20 years, we moved so that my husband could pursue his doctorate. That took us on quite a bit of a journey, which included moving three times out of state within five years time frame! Our most recent move was to Branson in 2020 and was not a move we planned on. We are adjusting to a more slow and quiet life in a small town. I enjoy reading, my two dogs, being outside in nature, and decorating/design. I feel most alive when I am with my husband and two sons laughing and connecting. I would love to visit Bend, Oregon, walk (part of) the Camino De Santiago in France and Spain, and visit Greece. My favorite book from childhood is The Secret Garden and my favorite movie was Pretty in Pink. I grew up in non-denominational churches and I joined the Anglican Church in 2013.
