Katie Goodrich MA LPC

I’m Katie Goodrich and I have been working with TRI for three years. I joined the TRI team because I worked and lived internationally for six years where I lived in a bubble. I love having the opportunity to care and offer a safe space for those that might not have access to it otherwise.  I also love the chance to break away from my four young kids for a few hours a week and engage with others in a meaningful way.

I graduated from RTS Orlando and I work mainly with clients facing grief, cross cultural and re-entry stress. I particularly enjoy working with clients doing cross-cultural missions and TCK teenagers.

I am married to a handsome Brit, who is a complete  brain— he has a law, MDIV, and actuarial degrees. We have four kids eight and under and we live in Richmond, Virginia.

For fun, I enjoy reading, exercising, being outside near water, and refinishing furniture. I feel most alive when I’m on the water or on a motorcycle. I would love to travel to Maldives sometime. Growing up, my favorite book was Harry Potter.

Spiritually, I was raised in the Baptist church and currently we are members of the PCA. We love our church especially for the way the older generations seem to be growing in humility, gentleness and grace rather than stubbornness and hardened in their ways and thinking.
