Jessi Slater MA RMHCI
I’m Jessi Slater and I’ve been with TRI for one year now. My first experience with counseling was with TRI as an RUF intern and it was the hardest and best thing. (Shout out to Christi Polk!) I am a graduate of RTS Orlando and currently am an Intern in Florida with an unofficial IFS weekend workshop training.
I have a private practice called Tree of Life Counseling Center and Foundation where I work mostly with survivors of sexual abuse, women experiencing sexual addiction, and perfectionists.
I live with my hubs Austin, who is an RUF guy, and my son, Brooks, who is a milk guy. They're the best. We love hanging outside and going out for ethnic food! For fun, I enjoy knitting, baking, sewing, singing, dancing, embroidery, watercolor and crafting! I feel most alive when I'm sitting around a campfire on a cool night laughing with friends and listening to the crickets sing! Or drinking finely crafted latte. Or eating chocolate. Or listening to my 7 month old giggle. Or crafting obviously. I would love to travel to Switzerland. My favorite childhood book was Matilda.
I attend a PCA church.
