Lauren Theriault MA RMHCI
Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. She studied dance and art for her undergraduate degrees and loves integrating art, music, and creativity in the counseling room. She has found this to be a helpful method for processing a variety of challenges, including anxiety/depression, trauma, life transitions, spirituality/religious issues, and family conflict. She implements a variety of practical evidence-based and compassion-centered methods, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Theory. Lauren enjoys working with men and women of all backgrounds and has experience with incarcerated adolescents providing support for various life issues (including trauma, eating disorders, addictions/bad habits, and depression/anxiety). This, along with her direct immersion in European, Hispanic, and African countries, has provided her with exposure to clients of many multicultural backgrounds.
