Leslie Gunter MA

Leslie Gunter is a counselor based in Jackson, Mississippi. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary, where she received training that integrates clinical care with a thoughtful, faith-informed approach. Leslie works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and significant life transitions.

Leslie’s counseling style is rooted in building a caring and collaborative therapeutic relationship. She places a strong emphasis on listening carefully to clients’ stories and engaging in meaningful dialogue to help them better understand their experiences. Her hope is that counseling provides a safe and reflective space where clients can gain insight, identify areas of desired growth, and explore pathways toward lasting and meaningful change.

Leslie is particularly passionate about helping clients deepen their understanding of their life experiences while expanding the ways they relate to themselves, others, and their faith. She integrates spiritual care thoughtfully and respectfully, always attuned to each client’s unique story and values.

Outside of counseling, Leslie enjoys serving with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), spending Sunday evenings in fellowship with friends, and engaging in simple, restorative rhythms such as reading, running, and making coffee. She lives in Jackson with her husband, Peyton, where they enjoy hosting friends and gathering around board games.
