Mary Elizabeth Blake M.A. P-LPC
I’m Mary Elizabeth Blake and I’ve been working with TRI for about a month now. I love being able to continue counseling and providing care to individuals who may otherwise have limited options for counseling, but also enjoy the flexibility to be able to play with my son.
I attended RTS Jackson and am currently licensed in Mississippi. My focus is on anxiety, depression, career, and couples, and I especially enjoy working with young adult women and people in ministry. I am certified in Gottman 1 and 2 and Prepare/Enrich.
I have been married to Caleb for eight years and we have a 15 month old son, Everett. I am also pregnant with a baby girl due in November. We recently moved from Starkville, MS, to Opelika (Auburn), Alabama.
We attend First Presbyterian Church of Opelika and have loved getting to know some of the community here and reconnecting with old friends from college. I love to work with my hands and create something new. I have recently picked cross-stitching back up, but I cycle through several hobbies like this. I also love to read, walk, and go to the gym. We recently got a German Shorthaired Pointer and she is a little ball of energy and my newest “hobby." I feel most alive when I can get my Bible reading and coffee in before the baby wakes up in the mornings. I would love to visit Switzerland and my favorite book series from childhood was Junie B. Jones.
My church background is PCA but we currently attended EPC church.
