Our Story

It Began With a Question

What happens when those who carry responsibility for others begin carrying too much themselves?

Over the years, we saw leaders, teams, and families serving faithfully—yet quietly exhausted. What was missing wasn’t passion or calling. It was sustainable support.

The Rest Initiative was formed from a simple conviction:

wholeness is possible, and sustainable care must be intentional.

What We Believe

We believe emotional, spiritual, and relational health belong together.

We believe rest is not indulgent—it is foundational.

And we believe growth happens in spaces that are both clinically grounded and spiritually attentive.

Care, to us, is not reactive. It is formative.

Two Expressions of One Mission

As the work grew, it took shape in two distinct but connected ways.

TRI Partnerships supports churches, nonprofits, and organizations seeking to build healthier cultures. Through proactive counseling support, leadership formation, consulting, and long-term wellness systems, we help teams lead from resilience rather than depletion.

The Counseling Collective extends that same commitment to individuals, couples, and families. Through faith-informed, clinically grounded virtual counseling, we provide personalized care for those navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, relational strain, and life transitions.

Different settings.

One shared mission.

Rest. Resilience. Renewal.
